This is really an amazing place. Worth every step all the way to the top. Recommend that you have a guidebook to explain but get to the stadium. It is worth it.

Stunning mountain scenery. Exquisite history and ruins. Quite a bit of climbing - and then descending. Some parts of the cobble stoned Sacred Way are pretty slippery. Thus, wear good shoes and take enough drinking water with you.

you take the Ktel bus from Lioson which is a bus service to the other cities ( all taxi drivers in Athens know it). it costs 32 € for a round trip from Athens to Delphi and back. Way cheaper if you do it this way plus... More
