Free with admission to Ancient Agora, this museum is housed in the Stoa of Attalos. It is a small museum, with most artifacts displayed behind glass. It doesn’t take long to get through the museum, but a good way to beat the mid-day heat.

We stayed 3 days in Athens, so we had enough time to visit the Ancient Agora. It is intresting. The upper floor was closed, the building is well preserved.Go there if you have time.

This museum is included in the combination ticket to the Acropolis. It is well worth a visit. The small museum has artifacts which were obtained from the ancient agora.

An apocalypse even for me, an athenian citizen, as this museum offers a time lapse experience to what used to be the city 's "mall", till the early years of the byzantin empire. Objects of everyday 's life, as kitchen equipments to what I would...More
