I liked the design of the museum itself and the way the path flowed towards through exhibits. There's a lovely cafe at the back with a very nice view. However like others have felt we felt as if our every move was watched

This is a massive museum dedicated to the history and art of the Byzantine empire. This might very well be the largest collection in one place, but I'm not sure. Having been to Byzantine churches all over the Middle East, I had a lot od...More

I loved everything about this museum including the grounds, the layout of the exhibits and the descriptions. My boyfriend and I are history buffs and we had a decent understanding of the time period covered when we started our visit, but we both walked out...More

This museum is completely underground, accessed by an old restored villa. Reasonably priced with excellent artwork.

This is a good museum to visit if you are into Byzantine and Christian art. We visited because we just like good museums and always hope it will be worthwhile to view something significant. Although we were not overwhelmed by the exhibition, as we have...More
