I walked around ancient agora and was impressed with everything around it. From the water clock to students digging for more artifacts to ruins of what is left. The museum has a lot ancient artifacts from statues of Iliad , Odyssey and others of the...More

I think this was part of a combined ticket, but having been to Athens more than once, I still like to walk the grounds and visit the Agora. It's a reconstruction, but it's still worth the time.

I was amazed by the shear number of active archeological digs sites throughout Athens and it was an incredible experience to be able to walk the historic grounds and get so close to all of the ancient artifacts. This a must see and second only...More

I found this place to be the most interesting in Athens...and that includes the Acropolis. Perhaps this is not as spectacular but there is so much here and it looks as if you are the first one to discover the ruins...almost left intact.

Have to see these ancient ruins that have so much history behind them. Although they're just ruins it is such a Greek Trademark, it's impossible to miss it.

Feeling like you're a part of Ancient Greece is an experience I'd recommend to pretty much anybody, particularly the able bodied (some difficult terrain, made more challenging in the heat).

One of the nicest walks in town. A spiritual area away from the sounds of the city. Better avoid during the very hot summer hours and stay for lunch with "tsipouro on ice" in obe for the small local restaurants. Enjoy!

Yes. The Agora costs 8€ if you don't buy the combination ticket for the Acropolois which is 30€. Open 8 to 7 every day.
