Nice one room house museum, near to Vratsa/Vratza (you can find it both way). If you dont have a car you can get by bus which is going to (to find bus is adventure :) ) village... read more

Nice one room house museum, near to Vratsa/Vratza (you can find it both way). If you dont have a car you can get by bus which is going to (to find bus is adventure :) ) village Chelopek. Have nice history, but it is nothing so big deal.

Baba Iliitsa is a fictional character from Ivan Vazov's short story "One bulgarian woman". The story is based on local tales about a woman who put a her life( and her grandson's life) at a risk, while trying to save one of Hristo Botev's rebels. After the detachment was defeated and Botev was killed, near Okolchitsa peak, by the otoman... More
