We at the Bunong Elephant Project strive to provide tours and elephant encounters that are ethical both to the welfare of the animals and to the indigenous communities here in Mondulkiri. In our elephant experience, visitors do not ride the elephants but do get to walk with them in the jungle, feed them by hand, and bathe them in the river. This kind of elephant encounter is very enjoyable and allows visitors to experience elephants being elephants in their natural habitat! We also offer jungle treks and sight seeing tours. Please visit our website to find out more and get in touch.

The Bunong Elephant Project is as close as you will get to seeing elephants in their wild natural habitat. The project is sustainably run by locals as opposed to foreign investors and backpacking volunteers. Plus rather than lumping the Bunong people with a large sum...More

Sorry, I don't know about French speaking guides. You could try speaking to Damnak Cafe, it's French - (855) 011649146 & they also have a Facebook page. They might know. Cheers
