It's located at a beautiful square with many restaurants and nice buildings around and town hall is located here. It's a nice area to walk around and have some food and drinks in restaurants around here.

If you walk straight out the doors of the InterContinental, you will run into this statue. Located in the central square (Praca da Liberdade), it is a good meeting point.

The king rides impressively on his mount and certainly is a focal point for the square and of course "selfies."

You will find this statue in the central square (Praca da Liberdade), but you could easily miss it through being distracted by other nearby attractions. I wouldn't be too concerned if you do!
