We had a thoroughly enjoyable food tour with Pancho Tours on the day we arrived in Porto. It was ideal to get our bearings and also to discover local foods and wine. We even returned to one place later in our stay to sample Francesinha in a more local, less touristy, setting. Cesar, our guide, was excellent and very knowledgeable.... More

We did the free walking tour within hours of arriving and it gave us a great overview of the city plus exposed us to parts of the old town we would've never found on our own. Our guide, Inez, was simply delightful and clearly enjoyed her job...definitely recommend this tour!

Ines did a great job. Kept the tour moving, maxed out our time, and filled us with lots of interesting tidbits of knowledge. Provide advice on local shops, pubs, etc. Charming. Recommend starting a Porto trip with this tour to get a good idea of the lay of the land. One thing I did not like...both the Spanish and the... More

We took the free walking tour and the wine tour with this company. The free tour was kind of bad since the guide gave us a bunch of wrong information in history. For example, we "learned" that the reason Portugal didn't take indigenous people as slaves in Brazil (they took) is because the indigenous people ran to the forest where... More

Hello, Many thanks for joining us on our tours in Porto, and for taking the time to review your experience with our guide. I confirm that all the informations given from our guide are correct. Portugal was pioneer in the abolition of slavery, starting in 1761. And this process continued till 1869. Which makes Portugal one of the first countries... More

The tour was amazing and highly enjoyable thanks to our tour guide: Pedro! Participants had a flavour or Portuguese History ( as a Lisbon fan I was dismayed to learn how Porto strongly shaped Portugal), Porto culture and the best possible insights of how to experience the city (monuments, city slang and glorious Northern food). Highly recommended! By the way... More

My son and I were in Porto for a couple of days to watch the Porto LCFC match (the less said about that the better). We did two tours with PanchoTours. The cultural tour on the first day and the historical tour on the next day. Our guide for both was an hilarious Irishman called Caoi who'd lived in Porto... More

The tour was super good the girl was friendly her English was excellent but more importantly I left Porto with a lot of stories about people and places that I would have not been able to know otherwise

I did 3 tours with them: Historical, Cultural and Wine Tours. Free Cultural walking tour with Pedro and he told us some really interesting stories and showed some nice places. It is a good tour if you want to know more about the culture and Portuguese people rather than history. Pedro as well was very open for any kind of... More
