We took a bus by accident actually :) We want to see Old city, but since it was hot and we were with 2 kids we take the bus. It was a great decision, as we were able to see the most important points of the city! We took 3 in 1 option tour bus, 6 bridges cruise and wine... More

We used the Yellow Bus tours to get acquainted with Porto. We covered the entire city with both loops. Weekend traffic was heavy. The drivers were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately about one-third of the audio devices attached to the seats on the upper decks of the two buses we rode did not work. Most of the riders just moved... More

There are two circuits -- "historic Porto" and the "castle tour," and you can switch back and forth between them -- hopping out, for example, at a "historic" sight and then hopping onto the castle circuit at the same place. The castle tour goes out along the coast and allows you to see not only two amazing castles, but also... More

we have used these guys in Madeira with no problems but in Porto they dont tell you the operating times anywhere and we fell foul of the 5.15 last bus--which means you can get on the bus after 5.15 this meant part way round the last trip we were refused access (it was after5.15) and left in the middle of... This one is one of the many hop on hop off bus in Porto. There is free wifi ( I feel the others also have free wifi). There are two routes ...... the orange line is the historical tour. And the purple line is Castle route. Personally the historic one is the better and more interesting route. It is better... More

We did the Orange and purple tours. Porto is so vast that the buses are a great way of seeing the city. I thought the Orange tour was great, the commentary through the headphones was very good and all our headphones worked. We also did the purple line which was ok but not as good we did hop off however it... More

I debated whether our experience was a poor or average but after thinking about it, I think 15 euro per person for a family of 5 is over the top for what you get. For the positive, the drivers were friendly and the audio was pretty clear as long as you got one that worked. Pickup was punctual from where... More

We were very disappointed because we only figured out that the buses pass once every hour on the "castle loop" after purchasing the ticket. One has no idea when the bus will arrive so it becomes completely impractical to "hop on hop off." The 2nd line is programmed for every half hour but again with no set schedule, so hard... More

They are more expensive than the others and they are hopeless. Earphones don't work had to get off the bus as soccer enthusiasts on the upper deck were so noisy we couldn't hear the commentary which was mainly music. Their timetable is non existent while walking and waiting for yellow buses we saw 3 red and 2 blue. We rang... More

We didn't know which bus tour we had to book amoung the red, the yelow and the blue. Finally we chose the yellow bus as cheaper on internet and it includes 2 different lines, 1 boat cruise and 1 visit at the Calem caves. The yellow buses come every 30 minutes and make you discover the city without effort.
