This is a 30 minute guided tour costing Euro 8. Whilst it is interestuing to hear the histroy of the commerce of Porto over the centuries and to see the superb craftsmanship of the furntourer and floors in the various rooms, the highlight is the last room. This "Arabian" room is based on the Alhambra Palace in Spain and the... More

I was extremely lucky when I arrived at the Palácio da Bolsa just a tad before then on a Tuesday morning: I was the only visitor thus I got a private tour of this very interesting building! Moreover I got a guide who was an expert and was charmingly enthusiastic, both about the place and her job as a guide.... More

One can't imagine this palace was built to be a Stock Exchange! The rooms are so opulent fit to be a King's Residence. Our guided tour was excellent. The guide pointed out minute details which otherwise would have been overlooked.

Don't understand why you wouldn't visit here. Yes need to pre book visit as limited places on tours, but has so much history and significance. It packs so much into a small place and the highlights such as the Arabian Hall are breathtaking. Plus see the room where the port vintages are declared which is probably why you have come... More

If you are interested in woodwork and stucco you should go. The story of the building is not very special.

We paid 4 euros each (50% off for the Porto card holder) to a guided tour. It was planned to see this business society to avoid the rain. It takes around 35-45 minutes to see all the rooms. It happened that we were in a two languages mixed group, so it took longer because the guide needed to address the... More

This is one of the things you can't miss while visiting Porto. This very old building is full of history and a visit would make you learn so much!

The palace looks good from outside but the inside is far and away the attraction. Different styles of rooms throughout the palace and a very pleasant tourist guide giving good information. But the star is the very last room you visit, the Arabic room. What a place, just sheer luxury, splendour, craftmanship to amaze you. Just go and be amazed.
