All the advertisements for the exhibition indicated that the displayed objects were those as exactly found by Howard Card, thus strongly suggesting that they would be the originals. We paid 9€ each to see a bunch of (badly made) replicas. This made no sense. And furthermore, why was there a replica for Nefertiti's bust when it is in no way... More

Maybe we're naive but we hoped we'd see original art. It costs as much as 9 EUR and consists of a Discovery channel type movie and an exposition of copies of the artifacts found in the tomb. For 9 EUR, buy a jug of sangria and then plan a trip to Egypt to see the original treasures, much better value... More

When we were in Porto (Feb 16) there was an exhibit of the Terracotta Army in the lower levels of this incredible building. The architecture o the venue was really interesting with the vaulted celings and the stonework columns etc It goes without saying that the exhit was very interesting and informative its just a shame it wont be there... Unique historical building, not that comfortable, but tolerable given the historical significance. Limited food and drink options inside the convention center. There is a small cafe. However, you are just minutes from many restaurants along the river. I would attend another meeting at this location simply because the location is beautiful. There is a kiosk to call a taxi that... The current dinosaur exhibition is a little lacking. Nothing in the first section is in any sort of order which confuses matters. The dinosaur exhibition was a bit better but one tv screen of I formation was so small you couldn't even read the Portuguese. The building itself needs a little more light in the underground sections.

The order of the pieces in exhibition makes no real sense. Not many dinossaurs in motion while other not running. You can spend the money elsewhere.

It is a nice stone building, with lots of wide places to hold all the events of a conference. It is also very close to Porto downtown, and has a parking lot.
