Set inside the Braganca castle tower, the military museum offers lots of displays and information on Portugal's turbulent military past. The various rooms are on the many floor levels of the tower and contain artefacts and objects, with plenty of information about them. We were...More

Covering a wide historical range of military artefacts this collection within the castle makes it a perfect setting. Coverage of the Peninsular War was particularly interesting.

A small museum about Portugals military. Mostly guns and clothes and a history lesson. There was a dangerous staircase to the roof but it was locked when we was there. For a two euro entrance fee it was not bad.

A very nice museum in great surroundings. Here you can see a bit off all the military scenarios of Portuguese army since Medieval ages until our days. It deserves a visit.
