We visited this garden area in January and it was lovely even during the winter. They were working on the roses and had pansies blooming. At night, it is a real treat with all the lights in and around this area. Such a nice place for a stroll and sit.

It's historical and aesthetic. Of course the idea is man-made but it's still nice. People come here, all the time, to take pictures of themselves to put on Instagram... locals and tourists, so yeah, take your chance!

This is so nicely maintained, with beautiful colors even in the late autumn months. It is free access and a quick pitstop while exploring the city.

The Garden of Santa Barbara is located at the back of old Palace of bishops, in the center of the old town of Braga. It is beautiful to walk, but it is small. So, I recommend you visit the palace (nowadays a library) and their old room, and after come to the gardens to relax.
