This is a no brainer On a hot summers day for very little coin you can go up and down. Saves you from having cranky teenagers!!!

This elevator moves just with water movement, no electricity. It's nice to do this small trip, less than 5 minutes. It's cheap. I recommend you to do the trip up and get down walking from Bom Jesus. You've two options, one way or the two...More

If you don't like to take the car or the stairs to the sanctuary, then this old elevador is another possibility. Did you allready figure out how it actualy works? (Physics-courses are a tip)

My 10 year old son loved this and him & his Dad had a great time working out that its all done with water. Nice wee trip, well worth the 1 euro 20 cents each

Be sure to save your energy for the walk down and wandering around up by the church by taking this very old (but structurally sound) funicular escalator tram. Lots of fun to do with a group.
