Small church on way into Funchal. Increasingly attended by English-speaking (Catholics) for Sunday Mass and limited seating/views to alter. Optional tea and chat with old and new friends.

Standing impressively overlooking Funchal is the church after mounting the long set of steps you enter an impressive beautiful church. Free to enter and no over the top collection box. The tiles statues and altar are impressive worth the struggle up.
