Me and my partner climbed to the summit from the car park quite a way up the mountain. The views were breathtaking and we loved it so much that we are going to come back in a few months and climb Pico Ruivo from the bottom! Couldn't recommend enough it's stunning.

Really beatiful walk to Pico Ruivo. There is nice big parking (for free) which is nice. Just be careful and take any extra t-shirt (if you sweaty to change it) and I can recommend jacket also, because even if is nice weather there is windy. Don´t forget snack and something to

Absolute breathtaking views! It was the highlight of the holiday being above the clouds and doing the walks! Words of advice: 1. Think twice if you're scared of heights. I am and it was a real struggle at times and nobody told me exactly how strenous and long this is! 2.
