On time, reasonable prices, they happilly accepted our tandem bicycle and gear. The alternative (bicycling inland) was not appealing.

The process was well organised and efficient. We were allowed out of our cars with masks on. Child friendly, and well organised viewing areas. Has a vending machine on board with drinks. No hand sanitizer stations and we used our own.

Ferry service from Setubal to Troia. Takes around 25 minutes and the trip is done on quite new boats. You can step out the car and enjoy the view at the top.
Check always the schedule before going as you may find only 1 ferry every hour. In my opinion the price is too high to take the car in but it’s worth to enjoy the view at least once.

Extremely efficient operation, excellent skills, well organized, great departures, perfect docking, very impressed with how smooth it all runs, a 10+ if I had to rate it. Both myself and my son were impressed, a definite must do again on the next visit. Keep up the good work. I see people complain about the cost of the fare, people, I have a solution for you, stay home. Do you even fathom the operational costs of this type of equipment? Exactly, you don’t have clue... I do, it’s my line of work, have a nice trip 😎

Took a return trip on the passenger ferry from Setúbal to Troia - October 2019. Lovely boat - plenty of room. The price is expensive if you are a regular traveller.

We got the passenger ferry from Troia to Setubal to have more choice of eatery, since hardly anything is open in Troia in October. We went in the small tourist office just next to the ferry dropoff and the lady was very helpfull giving us a street map and advising us on some of the sights, which we visited before having a great meal at Tasca da Avenida restaurant, before getting the ferry back to Troia. At about 8 euros for the round trip it was definitely worth it.

We took a ferry from Sol Tróia to Setúbal, we saved about 100 km on a way to Lisbon. The ferry arrived on time, everything went smooth. We could leave the car and watch the stunning view of a bay. However I got a feeling that it was a bit too expensive - €20 for a car with a driver and a passenger.

It's worth the money. The time you save to cross the channel to Troia and the golden coast view is a plus.
They say you may be lucky and see a dolphin in the way also :-)
