This is one of the main reasons why folks visit this region. This is a very large park with some great views, and a good place for hiking.

Breathtaking!

There are different roads between Sesimbra and Setubal, one of them winds along the coast, along some rather high and steep cliffs. The landscape is breathtaking, especially on a sunny day: the dense vegetation of the Arrabida, the cream color of the small beaches, the turquoise of the sea and the strong blue color of the sky make a beautiful scenery. It is easy to go from Sesimbra to Setubal, but the return is not that easy as there are no signs to be found along the road, first to get out of Setubal, second to chose the right road to Sesimbra. And do not count on the indications provided by passersby: they were very few and not informed. Better use a GPS!

Natural Beauty!

Founded in 1976, the park encompasses almost 70 square miles of land and sea nestled on the southernmost tip of the Setúbal Peninsula between Setúbal and Sesimbra. Our Lisbon Riders tour included several stops, allowing us to enjoy dramatic views of the stunning Portuguese coast: rocky cliffs, shimmering blue water, and long sandy beaches. This is a great day trip from Lisbon (luckily, we had beautiful weather). And don’t miss the nearby wine town of Azeitão.

A must - beautiful ocean views

Take a drive down the scenic view and enjoy the drive down the oceanic views. IT is truly spectacular. This is highly recommendable. Perfect for an afternoon drive, there are a number of coffee shops in Setubal that you can stop for a coffee and a light snack

Breath taking landscape!
The color of the sea ... a mixture of green and blue. The waters are transparent. You can sea fish around you! A paradise on land!
The beaches around are worth a visit and you can go for walks and explore the rocks ...

Great beaches. But be early

Really nice beaches with calm water. Be sure to be on time as it can get really busy and there are not that many places to park your car. If you Arellano Felix to visit in the afternoon, it is better to make use of the shuttle busses that are operating in the area.
