The Estacao do Oriente is Lisbon's busiest and (I think) most dramatic. It ranks with NYC's Grand Central Station in ridership. We should have gotten our tickets to Porto online, because the train was full. We stood in line for 20 minutes before discovering that....More

Good station for visiting Parque das Nacoes. Inside the station is very concrete but looks more interesting on the outside.

We used this station for both train and metro travel and found it easy to navigate. The airport Metro line runs through here too.

We used the metro to get here, the district is superb. Excellent for shopping, very near the Vasco da Gama tower and the overhead cable car. Well worth a visit when you are in lisbon.

We couldn't find the info online (easily), so I thought I could help you: there are lockers in this station. They are just behind the shops, and indicated with a sign, as you can see in the pictures. I hope this will be helpful for you!

Parque das Nacoes
This neighborhood was built up at the end of the 1990s
mostly because of the Expo '98. The pavilions and
structures that once were the home of all the Expo's
attractions and exhibits are still culturally and
artistically significant. In Parque das Nações you'll
explore conference and concert pavilions, a shopping
center, trendy restaurants and an enjoyable cable car
ride you can't miss out on. On top of this, the

The clearest location to meet is the station side of the doors to the commercial centre. There is a small coffee stall there (not a café as such). This is on the lower level, under the escalators to the road level - but... More
