Unfortunately we went when it was closed. You should get informed before heading to visit it as it is closed on one of the week days. Surrounding area is nice to walk and visit other places.

As title, a great tower with great history. Delighted to see money raised goes towards combatants and their support. Tram 15 to Belem and then a short walk along the waterside brings you to this fabulous building.

Even after the rain had just stopped the queue for here was pretty long straight away. It isn't the biggest of the tourist attractions, but worth having a look around, especially for the views out of the windows along the river.

Lovely. Not a lot to see but worth it if there isn’t a huge line. Be advised that once you wait in line to go to the very top, there can be an even longer wait in the sun for your turn to get back...More

There is parking on the other side of the dual carriageway. You have to walk over the footbridge; it's very easy!

There is a whole area of food carts and a market very close. We were on line for the torre de belem and my adult children went to get food and they said it was delicious.

We didn't use the Lisbon card but I did see these being used at the monastery so I assume so (we bought a joint ticket for Belem +monastery)
