This is not just a place to go for a drink but an event in itself! Walls covered in history, uniforms, candelabra.. billiard tables in the back. You can imagine the foreign spies collecting here at opposite ends of the room, sussing each other out.. Lisbon has some incredible atmosphere and here by the barrel load. Great service and the... The pub is fantastic. A cool photo op a million miles from some of the barrage of salsa bars in lisbon. The staff? Terrible.all waste coated tip merchants completely out of keeping with the surroundings.we asked for the bill half way through our drinks and my friend overheard them giving out about us at the bar. Visit, of course, just... More

If you go to Lisbon you must go to the Pavilhao Chines. We must have walked past this bar a dozen times on the way to our hotel without really noticing it. It is totally unimpressive from the outside. In fact, it looks like a semi-derelict building. However, we eventually figured out that behind some grim exteriors on Lisbon were... More

I visited this Bar in October 2015 while in Lisbon and found it quite a nice experience.  From the outside the place looks like a Small Chinese Restaurant but inside the place is actually quite large with a few different rooms including a Games room with Pool Tables.  There are models of Aircraft, Cars, Soldiers and all sorts of other... This place is nothing short of a step back in time. Cocktails were well made and delivered with a smile, not cheep but what do you expect for this sort of experience.

Worth a stop if you're in the neighborhood! We stopped by here to have a drink in a unique place and rest our feet from walking all day. Wow this place has a ton of things hanging everywhere and a really unique atmosphere for a bar! We sat at the bar and sipped our over priced, yet strong cocktails (morjito... More

Service is totally inappropriate and lack real professionals! The price is totally overrated! The teas are terribly prepared although the menu suggests they are something!

The lost of Luis Pinto Coelho transform Pavilhão Chinês, an old Lisbon reference, into a bad frequented place with a now bad ambient and a worst service! I do not recommend it any longer!
