Located in a stunning building, A outra face da lua is a vintage clothing store like no other, housing an array of beautiful garments alongside a cute café. The atmosphere is trendy and chic, and the vintage items are great quality and neatly displayed. Prices remain reasonable and the offering of items is vast, with everything from blouses to jackets... Great vintage store, I purchased a short kimono to wear with jeans, they have mostly 1970s stuff lots of men's stuff too, purses, scarves, a great selection of vintage dresses. The best part is the cafe where husband can have a beer and get on wifi while I shop! Charming place with affordable beverages and eats! If you love vintage... More

Most of the reviewers on here will have popped into A Outra Face da Lua -The Other Side of The Moon- once or twice on a holiday. I'm an addict, and I've been through the menu twice over. The main thing about this place is ...it's cool. For a start it is also a vintage clothes shop, so there is... More

Had a lovely time at Outra Face de Lua. We came there to do some shopping and were delighted to discover the sales. Staff extremely nice, charming, funny. The waiter's French was impeccable. The setting itself is worth noting. An artist took care of the decoration, you'll meet her there. Atmosphere artistic and vintage. Now the food. Lisbon is filled... More

You get a delicious coffee here for a very good price, same is with wine and other drinks. Good prices for good drinks! But do not order e Mojito, it's just rubish! I had NO sugar in it...astonishing, isn't it? Anyway its just some instant Mojito juice they pimp up a little bit...

Nice food, good wine, very helpfull waiter. Much better than the average place in this touristic area. Had the sardines and a glas of red wine, our daughter was happy to eat something from the breakfast menu that was still served at 1400 hrs

A nice cafe off Augusta sharing premises with a clothes shop. The staff was very friendly and helped us about the town. The coffee and cakes were tasty and surprisingly not expensive. Would dearly pop in at them next time. Thank you, guys!

Staying in Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores

Neighbourhood Profile
Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores
A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site, Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply "Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake construction, having been rebuilt following the 1755 earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the Áurea, Augusta, Prata and other famous streets, the imponent Praça do Comércio and its Arch, the luxury shops along the Avenida da Liberdade, this is the beating heart of the city center. The Baixa also grants easy access to trains leading to Sintra, the trams that go around the Castle hill, old neighborhoods or even take you to Belém, and Lisbon's traditional restaurants and cafes. Considering a visit to the Fashion and Design Museum (free entrance) and don't forget to try the famous liquor, "ginjinha"!
