The museum displays not enough asian art and is so bloody far away from the center(not well connected to the public Transportation services).

This is a fantastic museum having collections that are very interesting. The displays are dramatic and very well curated. Besides the restaurant has a fantastic Sunday brunch with views of the river and the docks..with an awesome spread that will leave your appetite well sated.

Art and artifacts testify to the trade/political relationships between Portugal and the colonies. One of the best ways to understand Portuguese history. Explanations are very thoughtful. Beautiful, too
