We went in the middle of the day not much shade and it was busy, but not a good atmosphere, we didn't see any of the treasures people were talking about just people trying to sell their rubbish.

I didn't know about this until my host told me about it on a Friday night. It's held every Saturday and Tuesday in the Alfama district, so I went the next day. The 28 tram goes near here, but I walked along the riverfront and...More

When we arrived at this flea market we almost jumped back in the taxi and left because all we noticed was junk and more junk spread out on blankets. The best merchandise we saw at first was cheap underwear, but instead of fleeing we kept...More

Beautiful flea market, open on Tuesdays & Saturdays. The section close to the arc, on the higher portion of the area, if slightly more touristic but the further you descend it gets more and more authentic. Nice place to stop before heading down to Alfama!

I decided to walk to this flea market from my hotel which proved much more difficult than I imagined. I followed the tram tracks, which was interesting, but then took a wrong turn and was lost in a maze of streets. People were friendly and...More

We took a cab here from Baixa on a Saturday morning. Cheap cab ride (it was under 10 euros for 4 of us) brought us up the hill and to the center of the market. It was fun watching my teens bargain for all things...More

I'm a sucker for a market, and while I think this is a fun thing to do to browse, most of the stuff there being sold was tit-tat! I was hoping for some more hidden gems! my trash may be another's treasure though! This is...More

This place is a flea market. You can find whatever you are (or not) looking for. The sellers are smiling. Do not forget to bargain. Open only tuesdays and saturdays. We enjoyed the time spent there.

I did not expect much and I was not surprised, the place is basically full of old junk that people sell. Occasionally you can get artists with their handmade craft which is very nice. But 80% is old rubbish. In my opinion - skip.

From treasures to absolute junk, and from antiques to cheap underwear, you can find anything and everything at the Feira da Ladra. This is a flea market where not just tourists go. The locals happily search for treasures there.

Graca & Sao Vicente
You can be thankful that most common travel guides
don't mention Graça and São Vicente that often. Part
of Lisbon's historic center and "Old Town", they feel
like independent villages in the capital's center, and
more untouched than Alfama. Amazing views, restaurants
and parks, as well as important monuments like the S.
Vicente Church and the National Pantheon, make this a
spectacular option for those looking for a more
