We took the hop on hop off bus in Sintra and went to Cabo da Roca. It's special because you know that it's the most Western point of Europe, but that's it. The views are nice though. Bring warm clothes if you go in winter,...More

The west most point in mainland Europe. Astonishing view. Going there late in the afternoon to see sunset. Parking could be a bit challenging.

Visiting Cabo da Roca, which is the most western point of the continent, was by far the most impressive experince in our journey to Portugal. You'll be astonished by the view and by the power of the ocean.

It's a must see when you are in that part of Europe, because it gives you a special feeling when standing at the most western point of the continent. On sunday mornings you can catch a whole bunch of motorcyclist gathering there.

It's very windy there, no matter when will you visit, so take jacket with you otherwise it can be cold. But it's one of the must see if you are in Lisbon

This is the place more ocidental in Europe. Rocks, sea, waves, very beautifull to see. There is a bar where you can have a nice " queijadinha" a sweet from Portugal, you have to eat this!
