I visited with a colleague, in need of a pint or two and a bite to eat. This first-floor pub fulfilled our requirements admirable. We chose the house craft beer and it was very tasty, served in 400ml glasses. I chose a pork and potatoes dish and the portion of pork was very generous. Several TV screens were showing the... More

This is the place to go for happy hour to meet other English speaking visitors. Go, have a pint and strike up a conversation with the people beside you. Delightful!

Staff very helpful and friendly a nice bar in a great location, sadly the toilets both Ladies and Gents were only fit for animals. I know this says a lot about the people who use these toilets never the less they need to be upgraded with locks on the doors and fit for human use.

Went in here on Christmas Day 2016 to order lunch. We were told that they did not cook their own food and that it came from another restaurant down the road!!!! So we would better to go there. Crazy attitude. As it turned out the other restaurant was dreadful.

An Irish Pub in a lovely setting. Sitting outside on a warm October evening was a bonus. Not being a Guinness drinker I was advised by my friends I was missing a great experience, however my Kilkenny was lovely. The only complaint was a very unpleasant smell inside the establishment which needs to be addressed. Good and friendly staff.

Overall ok, service slow, but the location and surroundings are the attraction here, well apart from the Guinness . Prices were a little on the hefty side, but seems par of the course here. Live singer was no Neil Diamond or Noel Gallager but got the place rocking. There was 16 of us so I suspect he appreciated having a... More

The pub has a lovely atmosphere like any pub should, good wifi and plenty of seats. Unfortunately we had a drink and the glasses were very dirty, we then ordered some paninis and the were not particularly tasty but other than that the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Great location with a nice view of the square and the sea beyond. We stopped here for a few drinks and a spot of people-watching. The drinks were more expensive than elsewhere, although we didn't mind that. However, we did mind being accused of not paying for a round by the barman! When they finally realised that we were not... Thought it would be lovely to sit outside near the beautiful town square. Service was ok until the server got it wrong and then was so blatantly rude, huffing and tutting. Virtually threw our drinks to us as she was angry. Swearing at other staff because they were a little bit busy and made to feel really unwelcome. Asked for... More

We had to spend 2h anywhere, during the afternoon. Because we just had lunch, the ideal place would have been a pub. And we found them, in a great location, with the proper shadow. The young man which took care of us was very careful, polite and fast. I had one white and another rose good portuguese wine glasses, my... More
