It's a cultural place, renoved in 2006 and opened in 2007 vor visit and leisure; you can climb to the lighthouse tower if you want; there are exhibitions rooms; you can observe plattforms of the 17th century fort of Santa Maria.

All you want to know about the history of lighthouses in Portugal is well explained here, with many exhibits. The whole area is perfectly well restored with stunning views over the sea.

This is an easy stroll from Cascais town so worth a visit for free. You can go up the lighthouse between 11-12pm for some great views.

An interesting collection of lighthouse memorabilia well presented and labelled in carefully lit and atmospheric rooms. Regretfully the lighthouse itself is only open for limited times.

Right on the walking path minutes from the historical centre, follow the pathway from the street. Open area with great sea views and light house history.

Very interesting exhibits and outstanding view of the Cascais harbour. Learn and see what makes a lighthouse work. If lucky, you can go up in the lighthouse. Hours albeit are limited
