Located in the Gothic masterpiece of Santa Maria da Vitória Monastery, a special visit should be made to this chapel with its magnificent stained-glass windows, cloisters, Unfinished Chapel and the tombs of several Portuguese notables.

An impressive building visible from far away. Close up it's even better. The architecture is fantastic - as is the history of the place! The whole family enjoyed the visit and found it as no surprise that it's on the UNESCO list.

Must see in Portugal. Came on pilgrimage and saw this as one of the sites. Very close to a hotel that is nearby that has great amenities and a very friendly staff.

It is true that the town itself without the monastery would not be worth the trip. However the monastery itself is really amazing, and we did not regret the drive from Lisbon even more since Fatima and Tomar are very close.
