It is really different, I have seen this for the first time. It is totally worth visiting. The beauty of this place is it is located in top of the Coimbra. The scenery is beautiful. I would recommend you to visit there and feel the history.

Penedo da Saudade is the name of this relatively small garden that has good views over Coimbra. However, the views are not the main feature here, where it has become a tradition for students groups over the years to place plaques describing their enduring love for the University

Hard to translate it's name, you will find yourself involved in huge roots and tablets written by old students of the city,shwing their love for her and the will to one day return

A little bit outside of town but worth the walk. If you visit the botanical garden this is only another 10 minutes walk. We visited on a cloudy Friday afternoon and there was no one there. Great for photos and to have time to translate some of the stones. You can keep going and
