Well preserved (by being underwater for many years) and very interesting place to visit. Good exhibition, 15 minute documentary, all with language translation fro Brits like us who struggle with other languages We spent over 2 hours here and enjoyed it immensely,

We were spending our last day in Coimbra and decided to cross the river to visit the old monastery and museum. As others have shared, the short video you see upon entrance really sets the stage. In particular, we were interested in the role of...More

Located at the end of the river bridge this is a must see. Bring your camera as the angles and light is wonderful. Two levels of lines, sculptures, tiles and the ceiling is to die for. Great!
