Small museum but full of history. We were welcomed by the family Brum and talked about the wine history but also about Terceira!

As part of an island tour we were lucky to get a look at the old winery and enjoy a tasting. To see that the vines were grown in very small plots directly on the ground surrounded by the black volcanic stone to help keep them warm in the night was interesting. The old distillery for making the grappa was... More

Super enthusiasm from owner and a good effort for something private. Wine tasting ok but keep expectations low. It's a small place with lots of history

Enjoyed the walk through and the des wet wine tasting. I had previously visited the wine museum on Pico island, and this was similar.

Who would have thought you would find a wine museum in Terceira? I know I didn't. Beautiful grounds, tasting room and history in this quaint place.

The nice Portuguese man explained me everything about this winery that grows wine from inside lava rocks. Really unique experience and such a kind man.

Read about this meseum online and went to visit. Turned out that it was closed. But Luis opened the place just for us to look around and we tasted many different wines (even ones not on sale) for a couple of hours! Really good!

Closed on Mondays, nice little museum for local wine lots of interesting objects well labelled and nicely displayed, also good garden growing all types of grapes clearly labelled. You can also taste the wine and buy some should you wish. Easy to park and find.

Wonderful visit to the wine museum! We lucked out and arrived shortly after another group of 4 arrived. Luckily, we were able to join their "tour", in which one of the individuals was fluent in Portuguese and English so he was able to translate. If you're not fluent in Portuguese, you may have a different experience. Loved the tasting room--... More

This place was pretty cool. We live in wine country in California and it was still interesting to see such ancient equipment. There was a man explaining the property but it was in Portugese. I don't know if he didn't speak English or just didn't realize I wasn't Portuguese cause I was with a group of locals. They only had... More
