Great location on top of the hill near the harbour and close to the fortress. Easy to get there either walking, taxi or public transportation.

At the top end of Lagos, over looking the ocean, it was worth the walk as yo great great views of the Marina and coastline.

Its a Statue by the side of the main road. What else is there to say. Its a nice statue, probably of someone of historical significance, but to a tourist just interesting.

Sao Goncalo was a saint of the Saint Augustine Order (1377-1422) who were traditionally friars who traveled around the world as Christian missionaries and were often persecuted.
