Great food upstairs, had the ribeye one night which was spot on and came back a few days later for the Sunday dinner, Great acts on in the evenings, live music and good atmosphere, would recommend a visit even though it is a bit off the beaten track

Wonderful place

Popped in here a few times during our holiday for a beautiful full irish breakfast. It was by far the best breakfast we had during our time in albufeira.
The staff are friendly and very obliging.
Thank you for giving us the most important meal of the day 😁

Good visit.

The biggest Irish pub in Albufeira is without a shadow of a doubt Erin's Isle, its a pub I always look forward to visiting o any holiday I take to this sun drenched resort.
Make no mistake this pub is huge ,the main part of the pub is located downstairs and it looks amazing ,a cool looking serving bar, fabulous decor and furnishings, all manner of bric a brac adorning the walls and ceilings, tv's to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this part of the pub ,upstairs is just as good,a big stage area for the nightly performers, big screens, pool tables and again plenty of seating options spread throughout this part of the pub,its a great establishment and a pub I always look forward to visiting.
We were a group of four,we got here on a Saturday afternoon, pub was relatively quiet ,we got bottles of Heineken beer, served iced cold ,we just chilled out and planned out the day ahead in this most enjoyable of resorts.
My beer was good,as much as I enjoy the local brews such as Sagres beer and Super Bock beer it's nice having a change and this delicious Dutch beer was perfect, a light, hoppy and unpretentious lager style beer bursting with taste, very easy to drink, a beer style I really enjoy.
We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and as on every other visit to this big friendly Irish pub we had a very good time.
Erin's Isle is easy to locate along Apartado off Montechoro.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Sunday, 9am till 3am.
A great pub,if your planning a holiday to Albufeira most definitely well worth checking out.

Disabilities
Oct 2019 • Couples
Disabilities are not always visible immediatly on meeting a person, but people with no medical knowledge or experience seem to think its acceptable to judge regardless.
This brings me to my partners experience within this establishment. She has MS and needed to use the toilets whilst visiting here, At the moment she doesnt need a walking aid but finds it near enough impossible to do stairs whrre the toilets were below. I said to her to use the disabled toilet at ground level, she agreed but disliked doing this as she does not like bringing attention to her disability.
On accessing the toilet she was told that it is a disabled toilet and she couldnt use it because she looked ok and never had a Walking Stick.Eventually the barmaid succumbed and she was able to use the toilet.
On returning to our table my partner was very upset, and told me what had happened.
I confronted the barmaid then the manager, with the manager apologising then saying no harm done.
I cannot express strongly enough how upset my partner was. How can people be so ignorant and jugemental with no knowledge at all off my partners condition. Would suggest anyone using this bar in the future bring there blue badge to prove to these ignorant people there proof off disability !!!!!!

We have coming to Portugal for a number of times and always wanted to try it but never got round to it. So glad we did. We had breakfast one morning and enjoyed it so much we went back the next night for dinner. Couldn’t fault it at any point!

A pub with issues
Sep 2019 • Couples
Went here a couple of times in the evening to watch the football.
Service was good and prices reasonable.
Smoking is allowed inside but this can be off putting as there are families with toddlers and babies coming in all the time.
Listened to Declan, he was good.
Also heard the Guinness brothers, very good musicians but vocally annoying.
The Place is a pub, but a pub for families, holiday makers includes.
I suggest you go in and see for yourself..

Good and Bad!
Sep 2019
We went to Erin's Isle on three separate occasions during our recent holiday, twice to eat and once for an afternoon drink. I can appreciate why the reviews of this place vary so much. The quality of the staff varies wildly; from extremely nice (normally the Irish) to quite abrupt and off-handed. And after an excellent fish pie dinner one evening, we could not believe what they served up as a burger (bar meal) on a later occasion. Seriously, I have not seen anything of such low quality since I used to buy burgers from street vendors in Wolverhampton town centre in the 1960s!!!!! As my wife was removing gristle and bone from her mouth to put back on her plate, I was getting very envious of the guys sat next to us with all-day breakfasts, they looked in a different league. Look, cheeseburger and fries for six euros is not bad, but I would rather pay a tiny bit more and have a decent quality burger. I often think places like this thrive because of loyalty to Ireland and its excellent bars and hospitality (and it sounds like the entertainment is good too, we just didn't experience it), but with a little bit more effort this place could be excellent and the negative reviews would die away. Of course, it might be easier for them to just carry on as they are, which would be a great shame.
