So easy to get to this beach when visiting the Old Town of Albufeira. Easily accessed by an outdoor escalator, it is adjacent to numerous restaurants, bars and shops. A great beach for walking and picking up beautiful sea shells and stones. It's a must see when you visit.

One of the busiest beaches along the Algarve. Plenty of restaurants to cater to the tourist. With it being close to the Old Town of Albufeira it is a very popular beach.

Just love this beach, served by escalators and lifts either end. A beautiful beach to walk, serviced by numerous little cafes and restaurants

that stretches a long way. In fact this section of beach goes for about 2 km and paddling in the water is a great joy. Watch the huge waves that come rushing in and easy to get wet! Clean waters. Problem is the lack of toilets.

It’s January, and even at the weekend, you have the place pretty much to your selves. A few dog walkers, and a few sunbathers... but it’s the ocean that makes this special. And the proximity of a few restaurants for a post-walk lunch.
