As main squares go this one in Evora is nothing special. There are a few restaurants scattered around the perimeter (and none looked particularly enticing) and a fountain and the church at the north end. Really, not a big deal.

Evora is a fun small town to visit. The historic center is worth walking. There are nice shops, restaurants, and wine tasting rooms throughout.

Evora have a lot of kind touristic attractions, most of them you can visit by walking in one single day. Only a small 'complaint' about restaurants be closed exactly on sunday when I was there.
