Atmospheric central square

Atmospheric central square. Good spot to start exploring the city. Cafes and restaurants around and lots of small craft shops close by.

A perfect spot to stop in the middle of touring the town to have lunch, dessert, cafe', beer or wine. Many different choices, and sometimes musicians playing nearby. Was warm so the shade was most welcome too. Lots of visual architecture and people watching from this vantage point.

Friendly, accessible and with numerous patio restaurants where you can have a light meal (especially good for lunch) or a drink, it's very enjoyable and totally worth a visit or two.

This is the main square of the Medieval Portuguese town of Evora. It is not very big which I feel enhances the homey feel . There are restaurants that you can sit outside on the cobblestone street and people watch as well as look at the architecture. There is also a beautiful fountain to help you enjoy the square

This is a fantastic place to walk around and enjoy the architecture. Check out the church. Then grab a table in the cobblestone square, by the fountain and enjoy a coffee, wine or beer and people watch. We enjoyed a very talented accordion player whose music could softly be heard throughout the square. A lovely place to spend a few... More

This is really the hub of the historic centre of Evora. There are three cafes with seating in the centre - and it's a great place to enjoy a coffee and cake, or a cold beer, and watch the world go by. There's sometimes live music too. Sit away from the road on the south side though, as there's a... More
