This is the central square of the town with a pleasant fountain, a big church and some cafes. Lots of people around. Major city streets radiate off of it.

This is a nice plaza surrounded by buildings with interesting architecture. In the center there is a fountain. Some of the building are undergoing restoration, but it is still a good place to choose a café and take a break.

As the city center, Praca do Giraldo is very well preserved with its churches, shops and coffees. Great place to have a coffee on a Sunday.

Very pretty small town which is well kept and interesting place to visit. Beautiful views and great collection of medieval architecture.

very busy town square with lots of shops and restaurants. Wear comfortable shoes since all the streets and "sidewalks" are cobblestone

A place where you can seat and absorb life all around you. You can think of Giraldo the warrior who was never afraid of anybody.

This plaza is the hub of the downtown. There are lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping nearby, beautiful buildings and Portuguese rocks patterns in the streets. There are ties here to the Moorish and Manueline times. The church is covered with fabric for restauration...More
