Such a beautiful location. Lots of history here to see. There are several tourist shops throughout the market. Several outdoor cafe's where you can sit outside and look at beauty and history.

After the city of St Niklaas, this is Belgium's largest market ! Almost every Saturday morning this place was taken by market stalls. Then it becomes difficult to find a parking space here. On the other days the parking spaces are paid (except for the...More

Good place to visit as well as Menin Gate. Scenic, and plenty of shops. We had waffles nearby. Cobbled streets, can be busy.

A fa testing square in the middle of Ypres. Fully restored from the devastation of WW1. Perhaps ruined in bit by traffic and parking

After visiting the menon bridge , we ate lunch in the square, very pleasant experience, and we are going back on our own on the bike for a second look around the whole place ,

Very pretty square, lots of shops and restaurants. The museum is housed in a beautiful building, although most of Leper was destroyed during the first world war , it's been rebuilt to look original.

Ypres depends almost entirely on tourism for its existence. Therefore, you should expect lots of tacky shops selling tat. On the other hand, its pretty, there are many interesting buildings and on the whole the people are friendly.
