Before you start your visit - or at the end - this is a nice open square with lots of restaurants and cafes. And you get a look at the 15-year old Concertgebouw which blends good with the 'old' spirit of the town.

Vast modern undistinguishet public space of no interest to the tourist; the modern concert hall at the South end is rather ugly.

The best part of the Square at the moment is the parking facilities underneath ! Very reasonably priced for a city parking, and definitely user friendly ! A little green light lights up above free parking spaces which makes the search for a space so...More

T'Zand is in the process of being re developed, it is dusty and dangerous, with a new road being built across it it would be easy to get run over. The work stretches down past the concert hall making it hard to get to, also...More

I can't say this place is worth visiting at the moment as there is lots of digging going on. It is a big square but not worth a visit at the moment.

I am only rating this as poor at the moment because they are digging it up. They are making it more family friendly with grass and treet. The lovely fountains are to be moved nearby.

Visited for a weekend in begin of March. Most of the area was under construction and looks terrible. Avoid most of the restaurants on around the main area. Go into town or down side streets for better food choices.
