The small entrance fee is worth it to see the very different architecture. Photos are (sort of) allowed in the main area, but not in the area to the far side with the "artifact" which is watched by staff the whole time.

Mystical and beautiful at the same time.Watched a ceremony. I did not have to pay anywhere. Only 50 cents for a light candle. It is nice to pay a visit once you are there.Especially if you for yourself there on a Sunday morning at 11:00. Would recommend.

The Basilica is in the square, so it's hard to miss or skip. It's an interesting piece of architecture.

Gorgeous architecture both inside and out. A very spiritual place and at given times, gives the public the opportunity to pray alongside of the artifact.

We went for mass here and were surprised to hear such a melodious service. The church is absolutely beautiful but it really comes to life with the wonderful tenor voices of the priests during mass (half an hr). You can't take pictures during the service, obviously, but though it was all in Flemish, it was truly a wonderful experience. The... More

The Basilica is an astonishing piece of architecture. There's an entrance fee, haven't been inside, but even from outside it's totally worth seeing!
