When in Bruges, there’s nothing like viewing this historic city from its canals. These affordable, 30-minute boat tours follow the same routes and offer commentary in several languages. But because they’re incredibly popular with visitors, don’t be surprised by long waits in line.

The Lamme Goedzack stern-wheeler (no sign of Paul Robeson) is an excellent trip. Best approached by walking or cycling on the eastern park, from Kruispoort to Dampoort, so that you can see the row of windmills, some working, on one side. On the other side...More

For €8 each, 30 minutes seeing the beautiful city of Bruges from a river boat is awesome. You get a tour of the city with info we wouldn't have known otherwise, you see so much more than on foot and it's rather romantic too ❤️

If you visit Bruges make the time for a canal tour. It is so interesting to go past buildings hundreds if years old. Only takes about 60 minutes and gives good feel of town. Great walking city.

This steamer look-alike paddle boat starts from the very edge of the city and only make 4 round trips, so is never a crowded as the quicker city trips. The journey is about 5 Km and takes about 40 minutes. There isn't a lot to...More

If you're in Bruges you have to take a canal cruise. The boats aren't too big and the sights are fantastic. It feels like a little Amsterdam.

How cruel that an international group of 23 people who were booked to leave Damme to travel to Brugge at 11am were kept waiting for 1 hour for bus group that did not arrive. This then meant our tour in Brugge was rushed. Very angry...More

A canal boat up a straight canal with minimally interesting views. Uninteresting town, apart from very over priced and mediocre restaurants. Total tourist trap in all honesty. I don't know what I could possibly recommend. I'm a lot poorer after an expensive lunch - thats...More

We consider the trip by bike, but found it more interesting to discover Bruges and Ghent instead via Canal and walking.
