The historic center of Bruges has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000 thanks to its status as one of the commercial and cultural capitals of Europe and its enduring Gothic architecture. The Belgian city center is cited as a great example of a medieval historic settlement, even while it has evolved over the years.

The architecture of the old town is simply stunning. The city with its myriad of little streets to explore is simply lovely. Lots of different places to drink and eat - the main square is relatively expensive - lots of other options that are not....More

First stop should be the Visitor Centre in the Markt, helpful staff with good maps and transport advice, we appreciated the suggestions for sightseeing in Brugge. The bus from the central railway station stops in the Markt, buy your bus ticket from the express supermarket...More

Very nice and romantic city... if you stay in the city center you can visit all the visiting sites by walking...very suggestive the boat tour, specially our baby (3 y.o.) enjoyed it.

It's a compact centre so nice to stroll around, with lots of cafes and restaurants (but the ones in the main square do not seem as good as those in the side streets).

Ate dinner here at one of the many restaurants on the side of the market square. What a stunning location. Great food too.

Overcrowded city and not that impressive as Gent. Very tourists oriented. A beer at the cafe near the first church costs 6,5€. Expensive and overrated I believe.

The best thing about this place is the building architecture. Simple amazing. Quite a jam packed place. Nevertheless, you’d probably wont be too bothered by the crowd as you’d be too focused on the beauty of the building. Dont miss it.

You need to go Brussels South station (the same one as the Euro train). There are usually about 2 trains an hour but none of them are directly to Bruges. We took the Ostend train traveling to Bruges and the Brussels train... More

Hi! The Hotel name is Ibis Brugge Centrum. It is a part of the ACCOR Hotel group and you can book using their website. Do not confuse this hotel with another Ibis Hotel which is next to Brugge train station. Enjoy!
