What an awesome way to see the city. Takes about 20-25 minutes and is well worth your time AND money (11 euro, i think).

We spent a lovely half hour on a little boat with 28 other people looking at the beautiful buildings of Bruges. The captain was very informative and funny despite having to repeat himself in Spanish as well as English. A great way to see some...More

After a day and night walking in Brugge, we spent our last hour before leaving the city on the boat tour, passing thru the canals, and seeing the beautiful city from a different angle, and it was worth it! The grude/captain was very knowledgeable of...More

8 euros for half an hour but worth it nice friendly guide don't forget to tip. We always do the boat trips as it is a good way to see were else you might like to walk.

We did this tour on a beautiful sunny day in Bruges. The tour was relatively short, no commentary and the pilot more or less silent for the duration. Pretty sights, but to be honest all of these can be seen without having to take to...More

I do think that Bruges beautiful streets are best explored on foot, but this short boat ride is worthwhile for a different perspective. It isn't too expensive and the queue was short when we went.

We did this tour last week when the weather was gloomy. It was cold and drizzling but we still enjoyed the ride. The boat driver was very entertaining combining humor with history. I'd love to do it again with better weather

Disappointing trip, could not understand the guide, was nice to see the town from a different view point but I would not recommend

The guide we had was fluent in many languages. He made sure he could cover all of the languages of the passengers prior to heading through the canals. It was very informative. Lots of stories and history as we made out way through the canal...More

Sorry for delayed reply. There are at least 3 places to pay/catch a boat and the town is very small so hard to miss them!

They don't take prebookings as far as I know. It's a question of buying a ticket (cash only) and queuing. There are a number of pick up points around Bruges. Google Bootochten Brugge for more info.

No, there's no space on the boat for storage that I'm aware of. If you ask before you board, there may be a spot. You could always ask them on their website.
