Skip the museum come here to see some of the masterpieces of the early Belgian painter Dieric Bouts. The Last Supper is a particular treat.

This is a beautiful church, Some interesting history that it was supposed to be even bigger, but wet ground caused them to reduce the sizes. Still spectacular. I didn't go it.

While wandering around Leuven in my free time I ventured into the city's Grote Markt area and could not feel awestruck by the beauty of this structure. I ventured inside and what greeted me was awesome. Let me say straight away I am not a...More

Even though it looks interesting from the outside, there isn't anything too special about this church as it is rather plain compared to other religious sites in Belgium. It is under renovation at the moment so the altar is covered and many of the religious...More

When buying a ticket to museum M, you can also visit the museum in teh church - be aware of teh limited opening hours, though. e;g. on Sunday, a visit is impossible after 17h because there is a mass.

We stopped in to look exploring the town. Would have liked to see a service. Beautifully restored. Work still underway.

Bears the the evidence of Leuvens eventful history and is still being restored. It does not have the stand alone magnificence of some great french Cathedrals but there is a wealth of detail and its well worth a visit
