The building has a prime waterside position, but upon approach, you see stunning old timber ceilings inside and are automatically drawn in. Well worth the visit

The Old Meat Hall is now a place where you can buy and/or eat local food while enjoying a market and some street entertainement ! One of the best spots to try the famous Belgium fries in Ghent !

The structure was the ancient meat hall of Ghent. Major renovation works had been made and now it looked better both from outside but more decent internally with many small shops and restaurants. Worth to come and stroll around the structure during your visit to...More

This place sells all the local food. Very good to bring tourists on a sightseeing and tasting trip. I love the meat. All the food is available for purchase to bring back home and for consumption within the venue itself.

This old building still has it's old charm on the outside but has now been turned into a restaurant and small shops inside. It is worth seeing because of it's history but just to take photos of the outside.

Definitely a place to visit. This is the ancient meat-hall of Ghent. Nowadays you can enjoy local products and dream away in a different era just by looking and feeling the place.

It is just across from the main square. It has a lot of things going on: pubs, food. It is also a historical building and as everything in Ghent it is amazing. Don't just pass by it.

Allsorts going on, bars with heavy % beers, food in abundance, snails just outside to eat. Very busy hub just by Castle of the Counts.
