Do make an effort to visit the caves in Dinant. An easy walk from the city centre, as parking at the caves are limited. Affordable entry price which includes a guide. About 10degC once inside, so take something warm, even if it is hot outside.

Practically ended up with a private tour for the 4 of us and it was just amazing. Well worth the visit and the included river cruise. Dress warmly as quite cool as you are a long way underground.

I enjoyed the tour. The guide was humorous, very sociable and could speak French and English well. (I am sure he is able to speak dutch too but there were only French and English tourists during my tour session). He knew the cave well- the...More

We had a wonderful time here. Our tour guide was great. We were the only English speaking people. But they no adequate sure include us and we understood everything. Would recommend it.

We took a guided tour through the caves and we all liked it. The walkways have been paved well, which doesn't respect the natural cave that much, but it makes for a comfortable tour. It was not slippery anywhere. They guid gave the tour in...More

Well, where to start? The caves are quite spectacular: they really have some very intersting features and history. They are easily accessible with comfortable stairs, a steady temperature of 12 degress Celsius, and large open spaces (with a slight lack of a sense of adventure...More

It a nice cave which you could visit but have to walk quite a lot inside. You should take the guided tour to understand the rock formation and history of the caves. Just walking about it alone will not be of any use. A good...More

It was a small entrance to a great hall. The tranquility and the chilly ambiance of the cave took me back to the prehistoric age. It's a nature museum ,where history greets twenty first century. Time is carved into beautiful shapes in every other turn...More

I'm afraid as we went as a couple I cannot answer your question . However it was not expensive and the children would be fascinated it's worth it .
