Very good informative museum in the middle of town. Lots of WWII items and exhibits. Most impressive part is down in the cellar -an enactment of a bombing experience that the people of Bastogne experience. Very moving.

WOW!!! The museum and its fantastic historical building will give you a great impression of the Battle of the Bulge. Window displays with amazing lifelike scenes and mannequins will take you back to the cold winter 1944-1945 when the battle took place. First you walk around and see what soldiers and locals did during this terrible war. Then as a... More

This museum is focused exclusively on the 101th Airborne. Compared to the Mardasson museum, it offers a glimpse of what went on in and around Bastogne, not so much of the Ardennes offensive as such. The diaporamas are also far better than the ones in Mardasson. Here, the diaporamas have been modelled on photographs from 44/45 and the models look... More

The first room sets the scene with large scale maps to show the extent of the German offensive in December 1944. The quantity and quality of the exhibits is exceptional. It gives an authenticity to the visit. Probably the best museum I have visited in Bastogne. Well worth a few hours.

I was staying in Bastogne for a few days in-between Christmas and New Year, I was doing a short Battle of the Bulge tour including Bastogne. The museum was top class, one of the best I have attended, some top class excellent exhibits. The basement experience was amazing, loved every minute. Shame I could not have stayed longer, but it... I've never seen such an eclectic collection of WW2 items! They have everything here. Also, a shop and an 'air-raid bunker' downstairs which gives a terrifying realistic recreation of the sights and sounds of an actual bombing raid. Located within walking distance of the centre of Bastgne too. No excuse not to visit this gem!

Really enjoyed this museum. Some museums can be a bit naff but wasn't like that at all here. Lots of great exhibits and photos. The basement lets you experience what it would of been like to wait out during an air raid and is quite moving. The museum was only 8 euros to get in which was a bargain. Staff... More

Great place to visit. Very interesting and informative. Excellent exhibits and information. The cellar experience is excellent and you really feel as if you just sat through a bombing raid This place is great value for money

Don't miss the 101 Airborne museum, it tells a powerful story about the battles during WW2 and the US influence in the area. The exhibits are static but it tells a lot about how it was especially during the winter. There is a coffee shop and a gift shop as well
