We are going there on a regular basis and I would say it is difficult to visit the market without buying something! We ended up once buying a table for our kitchen and another one for the living room. Prices are interesting and there is plenty of choice !

Went for the first time with a friend who visits frequently. It was a very cold morning with temperatures near 0 degree. This might explain why there were not as many vendors. We went right after Christmas which might also explain the low turn out. My friend explained the streets are usually packed with vendors and customers. Speaking with other... More

The Tongeren flea market is like a time travel. Suddenly, you are not in the 21'st century anymore but some 100-200 years ago. So diverse, so big, so perfect for antiques fans and collectors! I managed to fill my car with items that I appreciate. I strongly reccomend.

I was really surprised with the size of this market! As Tongeren is a small city I was expecting a small flea market around the main square and we spend almost hours around the city checking things and taking pictures there. So much interesting staff there that I have regretted to have gone to Tongeren with the train and I... More

This is a great flee market and it's held every Sunday. Even the underground parking lot is used to display the antiques. I only which there was a few more options for street food.

We took in the Brocante and had a wonderful time. There was a small boutique hotel near the cathedral we stayed at that was an easy walk. The free marked tour of the town is also well done. I highly recommend for a day trip!
