In all, there are 10 medieval tapestries displayed, most of which are exquisite in form and preservation. They are also very nicely displayed, the ones hanging higher can be seen from the upper floor balconies. The booklet (in French and Dutch) with explanation is detailed, telling the scenes displayed and highlighting certain feature for each tapestry. There is also a... More

Only a few historical tapestries and not real history of the art form. Interesting contemporary work and some post WWII work but disappointing that they do not really promote the full glory of the art.

This is not a museum of tapestries from the middle ages but more a museum devoted to various forms of textile art.. About 90% of everything on display is modern and a great many works are also abstract. There are too few explanations in English to make it worth viewing. Wonderful display of medieval tapestries, combined with modern textile works, could benefit from more explanation of how tapestries were produced, but very worth a visit
