Booked a private tour to Waterloo for my husband and myself just using refs from online and could not have been more pleased. Mike was just the best guide , great driver and added fun to the tour. We got to see all the Waterloo sites in style and great pictures - could not more highly recommend his service and... More

EXCELLENT! That is the only word that we know to describe the experience that we had with Michael! He took us on a grand tour of Belgium, north and south; The Netherlands, Luxembourg and parts of Germany. He picked us up in Amsterdam and we spent the day touring through some small towns all the way to Brussels. Day 2... More

Mike was an excellent guide. He was always prompt. Excellent hotel recommendations. Made you feel very comfortable from the start. Mike took us to Bruges for a day trip. He then picked us up the next morning 9 am prompt and we set out for a great war tour, ending our day in a wonderful hotel in Luxembourg recommended by... More

We booked a private tour with Mike to tour First world war sites starting from Zebrugge cruise port. We left the itinerary to him although we discussed it and changed things as the day went on. We were able to visit Tyne Cot, the Passchendaele Museum, In Flanders Fields in Ypres Hill 60, and the McCrae bunker at Essex Farm... More

We recently returned from a one-week vacation in Brussels. One of the highlights of our trip was the two days we spent touring Normandy with Michael Eyns. In one of the initial emails we received from Michael he said that the Normandy trip would be an “unforgettable journey”. And it certainly was that! He met us at our Brussels hotel... More

We booked Mike for a trip to Brugge two weeks before we arrived without paying any deposit. He turned up at our hotel on time as promised and drove us in his clean Mercedes from Ghent to Brugge. He has vast knowledge of Brugge history and Belgium in general. My family and I truly enjoy our private tour of Brugge... More

We contacted Mike last year with a vague itinerary to visit Belgium and find a World War 1 grave off the beaten track. Over the last year, Mike has provided excellent and immediate communication and his price quoted for a full day was great value for money. Whether you are travelling alone, or as a group, Mike is a very... More

Our group of three adults booked with Mike Eyns Tours for a day trip of the Waterloo battle sites starting in Brussels and finishing in Brugge. We anticipated a long day and while the Waterloo experience was good and the museum displays well worth visiting, we were disappointed with the quality of Mike's tour guiding and felt it did not... Dear Stewart, I just saw your review, and I was totaly surprised. This review is unappropriated. To start, you complain about the rate, this quotation for a full day tour ending in Bruges was a very good rate. You should know that a taxi from Waterloo to Bruges would be around 300,00 Euros ! and you agreed with the final... More

Mike drove us for two tours; the first one showed us the main sites of Brussels (1/2 day) and the second (a 10 hour tour) covered Ghent and Bruges. Touring around listening to Mike's stories and travel tips was very enjoyable (in his brand new Mercedes E Type). Mike is very knowledgeable and knows many people along the way. We... More
