There is little original about this street. All the shops are chains and don't offer much different than you'd get here at home. they do have one decent (and very large) electrical store though called Media Markt which is well worth popping into.

Long run-down and dirty pedestrian shopping street starting at the corner of Boulevard du Jardin Botanique (Metro Rogier) with a large shopping mall. It’s lined with the same old chain stores you may find anywhere else nowadays, e.g. Benetton, C&A, Camaieu, Cassis, Esprit, Etam, H&M,...More

There is a lot of stores for everybody, there was also a nice shopping centre. The street was very safe, the police was constantly doing rounds.

This is the main shopping street but all shops are closed on Sundays which is pretty unbelievable being in the centre of a major city. Wouldn't bother making a trip here.

Rue Neuve is one of the best streets in the very centre for a walk. Filled with dining/drinking options, different shops but also with stunning architecture. Definitely worth it!

Not far from Grand Place and Gare du Nord you have Rue Neuve. I was surprised by the plethora of different shops. It offers everything from clothing, underwear, makeup, designer clothes, electronics, makeup and some architecture on the way. Some stores worth mentioning are: Primark,...More

This area I found kinda dirty. When traveling to Europe I have found most of the cites pretty clean but this street had a ton of garbage all over it. It was just ok otherwise. Some interesting shops and some things like McDonalds.
